Fossil Time - Towards the Light / Dance
Though crafted from brass and copper, these works possess a remarkable warmth and softness, recalling leaves dancing gently in the wind. The artist describes the overarching concept of the Kaseki no Time series as expressing the ever-changing movements of the human heart—movements that may appear constant, yet are never truly the same from one moment to the next.
Minori Eguchi
Born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1963. Since 2012, Eguchi has held regular solo exhibitions under the title Minori Eguchi Exhibition. Eguchi's works have been installed at numerous venues, including Kamakura Prince Hotel, Hyogo University of Teacher Education, Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine Hospital, and Hakone Gora Karaku. In 2021, Eguchi participated in the Kamiooka Art Project.
