Phoenix

Phoenix has long been revered as a mythical bird that heralds the arrival of a peaceful era. It symbolizes fire and the flourishing of life. In this work, Tomoya Tachibana expresses the Phoenix through organic forms inspired by nature, integrating the surrounding vegetation and flowing water into the composition. Together, these elements evoke the abundance of the natural world and the cyclical rhythms of life.

Tomoya Tachibana

Tachibana completed the Master's Program in Metalwork at Tokyo University of the Arts in 1999. He subsequently established Studio Tachibana. Focusing on commissioned projects in Japan and abroad, he creates spaces that evoke emotional responses through the thoughtful combination of materials and techniques suited to each setting.
