A Journey of Blessings
This work depicts swallows soaring above the moat of Nagoya Castle alongside the houoh, the auspicious mythical bird, and a sacred turtle. The swallow's long journey through the changing seasons is likened to the journey of life itself, while the composition gently evokes the stories woven through life and the blessings that accompany new beginnings.
