Materials: Porcelain clay
Exhibition location: ESPACIO Nagoya Castle – Hotel Entrance (1st Floor)
Lamination
Displayed at the Hotel Entrance of ESPACIO Nagoya Castle, this vessel is replanted with seasonal greenery throughout the year. Its layered clay recalls geological strata, embodying the accumulation of time while also revealing the trace of unseen forces. Yukiya Izumita describes his work as an exploration of "wave-like forms" that emerge as the artist's intentions and emotions are impressed into the clay.
